Hello! We have added a resource page for food banks and additional help during this tough time. Please check it out! We are up and running with our tele-health groups. If you wish to join a group or sign up to do classes please email us at email@example.com. This has been a hectic past week. Thank you for your patience! We are confident that the following weeks will go much smoother with our tele-health. We will be invoicing early in the week for all groups and individual sessions. You must pay invoice an hour before group or individual session starts in order to join group going forward to eleveate issues with zoom counselor and host trying to start group and checking status of payments.
We do offer a financial hold so please email us if this is needed. If you are in need of a receipt or progress report please email and request one.
If you have interlock you still are required to calibrate your device. Contact your provider if you have questions or cannot leave your home due to sickness.
We will still do UA's as this is a requirement. We will be at our office one day a week for UA's. Please call or email if you have questions.
As always, if you are sick or in contact with someone who shows symptoms or has tested positive please let us know ASAP and do not go to office or out in public. We hope for a quick and easy recovery if you are ill.
FREE support groups on Friday through zoom with Eric. Secular support group from 5-6 pm and faith based support group from 6-7. You can attend both AND invite others to join!

A Good Life Counseling will be closed starting March 23rd for all groups until further notice. Staff will be available to answer any phone calls or emails and will also be at the agency one day each week unless shut down is required. Furthermore, the one day a week we will be open, we will be holding individual appointments and monitored sobriety testing only. If you have not signed up for the telehealth group, please call A Good Life Counseling or email staff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be getting an invoice for the scheduled group via email. This invoice allows you to pay thru PayPal, debit, or credit card. Invoice will be sent by the evening before your group. Pay invoice in order to join group. This can be done through any credit card, debit card or paypal account you have. Half an hour before your scheduled group starts, you will get an invitation to join the telehealth group- so long as your invoice has previously been paid. If you have a credit for the group, you will not receive an invoice so make sure to check your email half an hour before the telehealth group starts for an invitation.
You will receive an email from one of our counselors. Once the email is opened, you will see a link stating, “Join Zoom Meeting.” Click on this link and it will automatically connect you to the teletherapy group.
If you do not have an email, you will have to set one up to receive an invitation to the group.
Please download the zoom app so that you will have easy access to the group meeting, rather than trying to download it while the group should be starting.
As always, anyone arriving 10 minutes or later to the telehealth group will not be given credit for the group. You will also not get credit for the group if you try to leave the telehealth group early. It does notify the hosts and counselor when individuals enter and leave the group. Please find a room where you will have little to no disturbances. Keep in mind that this group needs to remain as confidential as possible so do not invite others to listen in or share the meeting link.

A Good Life Counseling encourages anyone who displays symptoms of the Coronavirus to contact their doctor and to self-isolate at home. However, for those who do not exhibit symptoms please know that A Good Life Counseling services will remain open to support our guests and clients.
What you should know:
A Good Life Counseling is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and helping our customers to do the same. As such, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). We are following all State and Federal, CDC, and WHO guidelines as well as adhering to our agencies policies and procedures on crisis and intervention for this unique situation. We want to share with you the actions we are taking to help protect our employees and customers.
We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced existing A Good Life Counseling policy encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. We’ve limited business travel and encouraged employees to leverage technology to hold business meetings whenever possible. We are working to obtain a waiver to hold classes in a non-face-to-face setting should this be required.
We are cleaning all surfaces, outside handrails with Clorox wipes and using Lysol. We have hand sanitizer in the lobby area. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask to classes or individual sessions please feel free to do so. We will do our best to practice social distancing and encourage all clients to do so as well. If you would like to attend a smaller group please call our office. If you are sick or have been near others who are sick please stay home.
